Sarvenaz Balali, M.A.
Sarvenaz Balali is a Ph.D. student in linguistics in the Department of Literature and Languages at East Texas A&M University. She holds an M.A. in General Linguistics from Payame-Noor University, Tehran, Iran, and a B.A. in English Translation, which she has earned from Islamic Azad University-North branch of Tehran, Iran. She is interested in research in the field of Humor and linguistic features of Humor and applied linguistics. She completed her master’s thesis under the title “Linguistic Study of Humor in five selected issues of Gol Agha Biweekly” and has taught as an English language teacher in group and private classes in Iran. She also has a certificate in interior design from University of Tehran.
