Texas A&M University-Commerce has created a legacy of success by providing quality education since 1889. In order to offer more than 100 degree programs, we’ve divided the university into five colleges: The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, The College of Business, The College of Education and Human Services, The College of Humanities, Social Sciences & Arts, and The College of Science and Engineering. Your academic major will fall under one of these areas:

College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources
The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at Texas A&M University-Commerce is committed to experiential and pragmatic learning with rigorous educational programs, courses, and experiences enriched by quality instruction. As a student, you’ll explore horticulture, wildlife, livestock herds, and more through exciting hands-on learning experiences. Our University farm, artificial wetlands and native prairie restoration site, and state-of-the-art laboratories offer opportunities to perform cutting-edge research side-by-side with world-class professors. The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources offers degrees at both the baccalaureate and master's levels.

College of Business
At A&M-Commerce, you’ll gain the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence you need to become a successful business leader. Our dedicated, world-class faculty bring real-world experience to the classroom, plus they take the time to know you personally as they work closely with you to ensure your success. Our fully accredited programs of study include a nationally recognized on line MBA. 

You’ll have opportunities for research, internships, and service learning as well as becoming fully engaged in small classes. Choose from bachelor’s and master’s degrees through the following departments:

College of Education and Human Services
A&M-Commerce is one of the top producers of public school teachers, superintendents, school counselors, and community college presidents in the state of Texas. Since 1889, we’ve built a legacy of preparing top educators, but we’re also recognized nationally for our excellence in practice, programs, research, and services.

You can work toward certification as a professional educator or earn degrees in other professions, such as mental health counseling, athletic training education, and social work. We offer bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in six departments:

College of Humanities, Social Sciences & Arts
Faculty who are recognized internationally as experts in their fields will work with you one-on-one to help you achieve success in the classroom, lab, and studio. 

College of Science and Engineering
The demand for professionals in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) remains high and continues to grow. Your degree from the College of Science & Engineering will prepare you to launch your career in the workforce or to continue on in a graduate program. Our programs of study are dedicated to changing lives with a strong emphasis on discovering and developing solutions and new knowledge for a complex and interrelated world. College faculty and our engaged industry partners provide research and internship opportunities in addition to the experiential learning associated with our instructional labs, planetarium, and observatory. College of Innovation and Design

The College of Innovation and Design was created with you in mind! Your college delivers a unique blend of services and programs designed to help you reach your educational and career goals.

Our online degree options are perfect for working adults who are seeking to earn a degree or certificate. Whether you choose our self-paced, competency-based programs or our online programs that provide a more structured environment, you are sure to find learning opportunities that match your learning style. Our dedicated advisers, housed within the college, ensure your needs are met and provide one-on-one guidance, either virtually or face-to-face.

University College and the Office of Career Development are integral parts of the College of Innovation and Design. University College boasts the award-winning First Year TRAC program which provides freshmen with unique learning opportunities. The Office of Career Development offers career guidance and assistance to students throughout their college experience.

By combining unique programs, personalized advising and career planning, the College of Innovation and Design provides students with the knowledge, confidence and practical tools needed to become career-ready professionals, prepared to compete in the marketplace and add value to the global environment.
