Research Incentive Programs

  • Proposal Submission Incentive (PSI)

The Proposal Submission Incentive (PSI) program encourages timely proposal development and submission. When an eligible grant proposal is submitted, funds are placed into the principal investigator's (PI) IDC account, available to be used for research-related expenses.

  • Faculty Research Incentive Pay Program (FRIPP)

The Faculty Research Incentive Pay Program (FRIPP) program is designed to recognize and reward recipients who are effective in securing extramural funding that is used to pay some fraction of their nine-month salary. For eligible FRIPP awards, funds are placed into the principal investigator's (PI) IDC account, which are available to be used for research-related expenses.
