Diploma Information
A graduation application must be completed and all degree requirements must be met for your degree to be awarded and to receive a diploma.
ALL DIPLOMAS WILL READ “TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY- COMMERCE”
University officials made the decision to omit the name of the academic major from the diploma. The degree earned is the official degree approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the A&M System. Majors are printed on official transcripts and will not appear on your diploma unless it is actually part of the degree name.
If you have a double major under a single degree plan, you will receive one diploma. Students cannot pursue two undergraduate degrees at the same time.
Students pursuing a 2nd Bachelor's degree would receive a 2nd diploma.
Your official transcript will show the specifics of your degree(s).
Teaching Certificates
Any student receiving a teaching certificate must contact the College of Education, Certification Office by calling (903) 886-5182 or by going here:

It takes 2-3 weeks after the official graduation date to award degrees and 6-8 weeks to print and ship diplomas.

APOSTILLE AND DIPLOMA NOTARY INFORMATION
If you need an apostille or your diploma notarized, please notify the graduation office at Graduation@tamuc.edu. The Registrar's office can notarize original Texas A&M University-Commerce diplomas or duplicate diplomas. DIPLOMA HOLDS
Please note that your diploma will not be released unless all University financial obligations have been met. It is the responsibility of the student to contact the Graduation Office once all holds are lifted. If you have questions regarding your financial holds, please contact Financial Services at 903.886.5052.
