Undergraduate Tutoring Services (UTS) offers a full range of resources and tutoring, free to all undergraduate students. Services include:

The Office of Student Career Preparedness empowers students to explore career pathways, gain professional experience, and successfully transition from college to career. We provide individualized support and programming in the areas of resume and cover letter development, interview preparation, job and internship search strategies, graduate school planning, and career exploration. Our services also include coordinating on-campus student employment, hosting industry-specific career fairs and networking events, and facilitating skill-building workshops throughout the academic year. Students can schedule appointments through Navigate360 or access job and internship opportunities via HireaLion (powered by Handshake). We welcome faculty partnerships to support student success. Faculty are encouraged to refer students, request classroom presentations, or collaborate on career-readiness initiatives. The Counseling Center at East Texas A&M, located in the Halladay Building, Room 203, offers counseling services, educational programming, and connection to community resources for students. The Office of Student Advocacy & Support partners with faculty and staff to help students overcome personal challenges that may interfere with their academic success. Our goal is to remove barriers and connect students with resources that promote well-being, stability, and retention.

The Office of First Generation Student Success at East Texas A&M University is dedicated to supporting students who are the first in their families to attend college. The office focuses on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for first-generation students.
First-Gen Student Success offers a range of resources and programs designed to support these students in navigating the unique challenges they may encounter. This includes peer-to-peer mentoring, workshops on academic and life skills, and access to on- and off-campus resources. By integrating university traditions and fostering a sense of community, the department aims to enhance the overall college experience for first-generation students.
The benefits for students are significant. They receive personalized support, which can improve their academic performance and increase their chances of graduating. Additionally, the sense of belonging and community helps to reduce feelings of isolation and stress, contributing to their overall well-being and success. All students have access to affordable healthcare through Student Health Services. Enrolled students may see our medical providers for free. SHS treats a wide variety of issues including acute care and injuries, allergy injections, birth control, physical exams, women’s health, STIs and more.

The Office of the Registrar maintains the academic records for all students. The Registrar also assists with registration, transcript requests, enrollment verifications, grades and graduation.

Student Disability Services (SDS), located in Velma K. Waters Library, room 162, is committed to facilitating accessibility by providing services, accommodations, and technology for East Texas A&M students who identify as having a disability.
