The Honors Scholar Program provides students who  are not in the Fellowship Program an opportunity to  reap benefits of the Honors experience and to graduate with an Honors designation. Students may enter the Honors Scholar program by many different avenues: including Phi Theta Kappa transfers, students nominated by their department, or students who come to the Honors later in their college experience. 

Students in the Honors Scholar Program must meet the following requirements to graduate with Honors distinction:

• Complete required honors coursework
• Complete the Honors capstone requirement. Ex: Thesis, Research Project, Internship, Study-Away, Service Learning Project
• 3.3 GPA at the time of graduation
