Extended Studies
About Extended Studies
Through Extended Studies, the privileges of the university teaching faculty are extended to those students who are unable to enroll in the regular sessions. Extended Studies serves the needs of:
- High school graduates who are unable to attend college, but who desire to extend their education above high school training.
- College students who find it necessary to discontinue their residency study, but wish to continue their college work.
- In-service teachers who wish to continue their professional training.
- Person who, for any reason, wishes to study for self - improvement and cultural advancement.
Benefits of the Program:
- Flexibility - Probably the single most important reason to take courses through Extended Studies is the freedom it offers. You may enroll anytime and take up to twelve months to complete the course requirements.
- Independence - Since you do not have to attend class several times a week, you set your own study schedule.
- Convenience - Our courses never close because of enrollment limitations, and you can earn Texas A&M University-Commerce credit even if you are living far from campus.
