Admission Requirements
The conditions for admission to Extended Studies work differently from those required for courses conducted in residence. However, in order to receive credit towards graduation for work done by Extended Studies, the student must have met the same prerequisites of resident students. Undergraduate students must have an official transcript from the most recently attended school, sent to:

Current students of Texas A&M-Commerce are not required to submit a transcript.
Important Facts
- Students who are in residence at other colleges or universities should secure the advance approval of their deans for Extended Studies courses or assume the risk of failing to secure credit.
- A student who has failed a residence course may register for the same course by Extended Studies only upon the approval of the instructor and the appropriate dean.
- Graduate students must have an official transcript sent from the institution from which the highest degree was granted.
- Students who are academically suspended by any University will not be allowed to register for Extended Studies until the expiration of the suspension.
- Grade points needed for graduation may be earned by scheduling additional Extended studies courses.
