BONUSES OR INCENTIVE PAYMENTS

Texas A&M University does not pay commissions, bonuses or other incentive payments base on directly or indirectly securing Service member enrollments.  This policy applies to all University staff as well to outside entities.

RECRUITING CONTACTS

It is the policy for Texas AUm University-Commerce that the University shall not engage in recruitment tactics for Service members that include multiple (3 or more) unsolicited contacts by phone, email or in-person.  This policy also prohibits same-day recruitment contact and registration for Service members.

EDUCATION SERVICES OFFICE COUNSELOR

Service members are directed to contact the Education Services Officer (ESO) or counselor prior to enrolling at Texas A&M University-Commerce.

LOAN COHORT DEFAULT RATE

Texas A&m University-Commerce will publish and highlight the student loan Cohort Default Rate (CDR) on this webpage if our CDR exceeds the national average CDR.

READMISSION FOR SERVICE MEMBERS

The readmission policy for Service members at Texas A&M University-Commerce is consistent with requirements outlined in Chapter 3, Volume 2 of the Federal Student Financial Aid Handbook.

TUITION RATES FOR ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS USING MILITARY TUITION ASSISTANCE

Statutory tuition  Texas Residents $50 per credit hour

Statutory tuition  Non-Residents   $458 per credit hour

Designated tuition  $109.68 per credit hours

Graduate tuition  $42 per credit hour 

INSTITUTION POLICY ON THE RETURN OF UNEARNED TA FUNDS

We invoice after the census date the 20th class day.  At that time we review all TAs received and check to make sure the students are still enrolled in the same amount of hours approved on the TA.  If a student has dropped a course we will only invoice for the hours they are enrolled in after the census date. If a student withdraws we don't invoice for student.  The TA become voided.

INSTITUTION SCHEDULE FOR THE RETURN OF UNEARNED TA FUNDS

8 week course - we don't invoice until the 4th week at the 50% completion point.  If a course has been dropped we don't invoice for it (unearned TA funds at 100%)

16 week course - we don't invoice until the 8th week at the 50% completion point.  If a course has been dropped we don't invoice for it (unearned TA funds at 100%)

PROGRAMS IN FIELDS THAT REQUIRE PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT

NURSING

The Texas A&M University-Commerce Department of Nursing has full approval by the Texas Board of Nursing.

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing Texas A&M University-Commerce is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

Completion of the pre-licensure program meets the educational requirements of Texas Board of Nursing to take the licensure examination to be Registered Nurses.

SOCIAL WORK

The Masters of Social Work program is full accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CWSE).  Upon successful completion of the program - students will be eligible for licensure by the State of Texas a a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
