Once graduating from Texas A&M Commerce with his Mathematics degree in 2006, Mr. Le started with Zurich North American Insurance in their home office of Schaumburg, IL (suburb of Chicago). He lived there traveling the country for a full year in their training program. During this time, he had temporary residency in Seattle, San Francisco, and Tampa, and was trained in all disciplines of Insurance including actuary. After 4 ½ years at Zurich, he left to pursue an opportunity with regional carrier Amerisure, and spent 4 ½ years there as a construction underwriter before moving to AWAC to start up the retail excess division. After 4 years there, he was asked to be a manager at Markel Corporation where he was a manager in the Excess Casualty department before being promoted to manage the Business Development unit. He has recently been promoted to Director of Business Development and Marketing for the entire Mid South Region. His role consist of market distribution, strategizing profitable premium growth, and developing key relationships with partners. He currently sits on the Career Development Committee of WSIA and is heavily involved in recruiting new talent into the insurance industry.
Mr. Le lives in Rockwall with his wife Jillian Le, who is also a graduate from Texas A&M Commerce and currently teaches at Nebbie Williams Elementary. They have an 8 year-old daughter, Annistyn Le and one 10 year-old boxer. During his college years, he was a proud member of the Kappa Alpha Order, heavily involved with intermural, and Greek life and held office with his fraternity, ran rush for the 2004 fall semester, and won numerous brotherly awards like Chairman Head of the Year for leadership in his community service efforts.
