iRIS Research Compliance System

All IRB applications are now submitted through IRIS. This is an online application submission for new and continuing IRB applications and determinations. The system also functions as a document repository and provides investigators with easy access to all their past and current study documents. The steps you need to take to submit your application through IRIS are shown below.

STEPS TO REGISTER AND CREATE YOUR IRB SUBMISSION

Step 1: Click on the link LOGIN TO IRIS. This will take you to your SSO account. Once your credentials are verified through SSO, an IRIS account is automatically created.  If you do not have an SSO account contact research.compliance@tamuc.edu.

Step 2: Once you are logged in, a Study Assistant Tutorial will display which provides a guided tour through the system.  To complete your IRB submission use the Principal Investigator Training Powerpoint Presentation which gives you a step-by-step guide through the submission process. You can also make an appointment with Dr. Lucy Pickering (Director of Research Compliance) to complete your application in a tutorial session.
