Online MS Technology Management

A 36 hour (12 Course), on-line only, non-thesis graduate program in Technology Management has been designed to prepare program graduates for career advancement and career enhancement in domestic and global technology-intensive businesses and industrial enterprises.

Graduates of the Master of Science in Technology Management program at Texas A&M University-Commerce will...

  1. evaluate and defend leadership and organizational strategies associated with technology-intensive enterprises;
  2. summarize and explain organizational development and strategies common to technology-intensive enterprises;
  3. formulate and assemble component ideas in order to successfully execute a project plan; and
  4. analyze information in order to formulate effective solutions;

The Technology Management Master's Program is fully STEM-qualified.  The program is approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) under Classification of Instructional Program (CIP) Code 15.0612 – Industrial Technology/Technician.

The MS-TMGT program is delivered as an entirely on-line program.  Core courses are offered exclusively in an on-line format.  Note that some elective options or courses might not be available in an entirely on-line format.  Depending on your selection of elective option(s), the entire program can be completed online.  As there are no face-to-face courses offered in the core, International students studying on a F-1 or J-1 Visa are not eligible for this program.

Beginning with the Fall 2019 semester, the TMGT Core Courses, with the exception of TMGT 599, will be offered as eight-week sub-term courses.  This will streamline the program for students in industry positions and offer greater flexibility for those simply wishing to accelerate their time-to-completion for the Master's Degree.

  • TMGT 599  Technology Management Practicum (+ Master’s Comprehensive Examination)
