The Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree program prepares students to apply scientific and mathematical principles to the planning, design, and evaluation of electrical and electronic systems and their components. This degree includes instruction in circuits, electronics, digital systems, electrical networks, electromagnetism, embedded control, programming, signal analysis, and electrical systems.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics and Texas Workforce Commission project an increased demand for electrical and electronics engineers over the next decade.  The Department of Engineering & Technology has established partnerships with regional engineering and technology-based companies providing students with internship, senior design projects, and employment opportunities
