The Humor Research Conference (HRC) is an online student-organized international multidisciplinary all-plenary event dedicated to the study of humor in all its facets. The 15th annual HRC will be held live-broadcast online from February 14–16, 2025. Pre-conference workshops and sessions are scheduled for February 13.

The conference is student-friendly and invites submissions on any topic related to humor studies, including and not limited to literary studies, psychology, folklore, sociology, computer science, and linguistics.

All events are scheduled in Central Time (CST/CDT, UTC/GMT -6; the same time zone as Dallas, TX, for reference).

• No registration deadline for general attendees
• Monday, January 6th - Submission deadline for papers, panels, posters, and workshops (CLOSED)
• Monday, January 13th - Acceptance notifications sent
• Thursday, February 6th - Deadline to submit final poster recordings
• Friday, February 7th - Deadline for all presenters to register
• Wednesday, February 12th – Deadline for Book Exhibit submissions

All deadlines are by midnight Central Standard Time (UTC/GMT -6 hours).
