The Graduate Council formulates and recommends policies and procedures related to graduate education to the president of the university. Faculty membership on the Graduate Council is limited to members of the graduate faculty from each academic college and a doctoral and a master's/specialist student.
The Graduate Council has three standing committees: Administration, Curriculum, and Graduate Faculty Research and Instruction. Committees are chaired by members of the Graduate Council and composed of members selected from the Graduate Council members.
