Annually, the Math Department hosts the Adventures in Math (AIM) day activities for high school students and teachers. More information found here.
The Math Department also hosts several clubs for those who would like to join with others interested in the mathematical fields. These clubs host several activities and speakers, offer conference attendance and presentation opportunities, and are involved in competitions for those who would like to join. The Math Club has sent several winning teams to the annual Math Bowl hosted at the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) conference. Descriptions of their accomplishments are found here.
This competion gives awards to those who submit the best artwork created by using Desmos. Please see this link for details and how to enter.
Every week during the Spring and Fall semesters, interesting and challenging questions are posted, with prize drawings for correct submissions. See this link for more details.
The Math Department is proud of the accomplishments of its students. Awards are offered to those outstanding graduate and undergraduates who distinguish themselves through their work in club activities, presentations, and academic performance.
