Dr. Gil Naizer, is a professor in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction. He has been part of the University community for over 25 years and has served in multiple roles, including Interim Department Head, Assistant Department Head, Assistant Dean, and C&I Masters Program Coordinator.

Gil commented, “During my experience, I found that faculty members sometimes require a safe place where they can seek assistance in understanding procedures, and addressing conflicts, disputes, or complaints. During the last phase of my academic career at the University, I am privileged to serve in the position of Faculty Ombuds to serve as an advocate for fairness and equitable processes, and assist others in navigating what may be particularly stressful points in their careers.”
