Student Worker Program
CITE is proud to continue its initiative in student employment. We believe in the students of Texas A&M University-Commerce and in the University Vision to provide non-traditional learning opportunities to our students and workforce. The CITE Student Worker Program is a paid internship-like program in which the successful candidate or candidates will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience. Students will be given the opportunity to maximize their learning experience through real work that will prepare them for permanent positions in the world of technology as well as to support their understanding of technology in non-technology related positions. Student workers will start in the CITE Support Center supporting users and computing devices. Over several weeks of engagement, a flourishing student worker may have the opportunity to work in the areas of application development, systems administration, networking, business analysis and project management.
The requirements for applicants are as follows:
- Currently enrolled as an Undergraduate
- Have the ability to schedule an average of 19 hours of work a week
- Major in any field of study.
The rate of pay is $7.25 an hour.
