Billy Marshall received his all-level teaching degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 1968. For several years, Mr. Marshall taught at the middle school and high school levels and coached football and baseball. A career change was made in 1980 when he began working for Texas Instruments advancing to the director level as Director of Enterprise Services with Raytheon. Due to health concerns, Mr. Marshall retired from Raytheon (formerly Texas Instruments) in 2000. He remains very active in his church and is an advocate for The Lighthouse for the Blind. He and his wife, Karen, have two sons, two daughter-in-laws, and three grandchildren. Mr. Marshall assists the Advancement Services office in the stewardship of donors by making personal telephone calls to thank them for their gifts.
