CARRINGTON, Jerry “Jace”

Mr. Carrington graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 1961 with a bachelor’s degree. He and his wife, Susan, live in Dallas and are active in community and church work. Mr. Carrington spent the majority of his career employed at Texas Instruments where he retired after 31 years of service. Active in many alumni activities, he received the alumni service Gold Blazer award in 2005, organized four Tejas/Sig ep Blast reunions, and previously served on the First Last Dinner Dance Committee. Jace and Susan enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren, and also on the family farm in East Texas. Mr. Carrington serves as the chair of the Scholarship Committee. He has been instrumental in establishing and growing the Tejas Club/Sig Ep endowment, which is one of the larger Foundation endowments. Jace and Susan Carrington were inducted into the Heritage Society in honor of their generous contributions in 2008.
