HOW TO MAKE DEPOSITS

Using The Transact eAccounts App

1) Download the App

eAccounts is available as an app for Apple and Android devices, it can also be accessed under the apps tab in myLEO:

Note: Before you can make deposits with the mobile eAccounts app, you must have a saved payment method previously created in eAccounts using the myLEO service through a web browser.

2) Make a Deposit

  • Once in the app and select Add Money.
  • Enter the amount of money you would like to deposit and select next.

  • Select your payment method if you have multiple cards saved. If you set a payment method as your default, it will always be listed.

  • Once you have selected the correct payment method, make sure to review your selected information before submitting the deposit.

Note: Guest deposits are currently not supported through the mobile app. If you would like to deposit funds into a student's Lion Cash account, please use the Parent LeoPay option.

Access through myLEO

1) Log-In

There are log-in options for students and guests on the myLEO portal.

  • Students will sign into the myLEO Portal.
  • Anyone wanting to make a guest deposit can select LeoPay For Parents

Once in the myLEO portal

  • Students will sign in with your Single Sign On credentials
  • Guest will login with their email

Note: Guest deposits are currently not supported through the mobile app. If you would like to deposit funds into a student's Lion Cash account, please use the Parent LeoPay option.

2) Access the Portal

  • Once logged in, you will select the APPS tab at the top of the screen and this will take you to the app screen.
  • From here, you will need to find the Lion Card Account Management (eAccounts) tile. You will be entered into Texas A&M University eAccounts Portal.
  • To make a deposit, you will select +Add Money under Lion Cash. 

3) Make a Deposit

  • You will be on the Make Account Deposit page, you will click on Account. Although there is a drop-down option here, Lion Cash is the only account you can deposit.
  • Under the Deposit Type you have two options where you may deposit
    • A specific amount or top-off your account to a specific amount
    • A balance top off payment will only add the amount needed to make your Lion Cash balance equal the amount you enter here
  • You will then enter the amount you wish to deposit or top-off on the Deposit Amount section.
  • Once you are done making your selections click on the button Next.

Note: If making a guest deposit you will begin on the Beneficiary page, here you will be asked for the campus-wide ID (CWID) of the student you wish to make a deposit.

  • You will be on the BlackboardPaymentGateway page. Simply fill in all field and select Submit

  • Verify that your selections are correct and select Make Deposit

  • Under Save Payment Method selection, if you would like to save a payment method for use in the mobile app, select the Save for future use button
    • If you save more than one payment method, you can designate if you would like the card to be your default payment method for future deposits.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PHOTO ONLINE

Using The Transact eAccounts App

You can now add your own photo for your Lion Card with the eAccounts app. To submit your photo follow these simple steps:

  1. eAccounts is available as an app for Apple and Android devices, it can also be accessed under the apps tab in myLEO:
  2. Once you’ve downloaded the app or logged in through myLEO and selected the eAccounts tile, get started by adding your school.
  3. Select Texas A&M University-Commerce
  4. Select TAMUC SSO
  5. Select Continue to Sign in. This takes you to our single sign in page, log in here with your university credentials.
    • If your phone has biometric capabilities the app allows you the option to make logging in even easier with biometrics!
  6. Select the options cog in the top right hand corner.
  7. Select Submit ID Photo
  8. After submitting your photo you have one last chance to edit or change your photo.
  9. Once complete simply select Submit & Sign Out and you will have successfully submitted your photo.
  10. You will receive an email from the Lion Card Office letting you know if your photo was approved or denied and instructions for how to obtain your card
  11. Currently you are only allowed to upload one photo through this process!!! Once you have submitted a photo and it has been approved if you try to submit another photo you will receive an error stating that online photo submission is currently unavailable

Access through myLEO

  1. Sign in to myLEO with your Single Sign On credentials
  2. Select Profile at the top of the screen to be taken to the Personal Information page
  3. Select Click to submit a new photo
  4. After submitting your photo you have one last chance to edit or change your photo.
  5. Once complete simply select Submit & Sign Out and you will have successfully submitted your photo.
  6. You will receive an email from the Lion Card Office letting you know if your photo was approved or denied and instructions for how to obtain your card
  7. Currently you are only allowed to upload one photo through this process!!! Once you have submitted a photo and it has been approved if you try to submit another photo you will receive an error stating that online photo submission is currently unavailable.

Disable/Re-enable

Lost Card or Mobile Credential

  • If your Lion Card is missing or stolen, immediately log in to the eAccounts app and deactivate your card or mobile credential. You can reactivate from your app if you locate your missing credential. 
  • Alternatively, you may call the Lion Card Office at 903.468.6022 during normal business hours and we can deactivate your card for you. These actions will immediately freeze your account until you can locate your credential or visit the Lion Card Office to attain a new card.
