Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
NEW FAIR LABOR STANDARDS ACT (FLSA) REGULATIONS
As of January 1, 2020, employees classified as exempt must have an annual salary of $35,568 (by law there are some exceptions) or must be reclassified as hourly. The impacted employees and their supervisors will be notified by email of the change by Human Resources.
This change takes effect on January 1, 2020 and will be reflected on the February 1st, 2020, payroll.
