COEHS Departments and Majors
The College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) Mentor Center, located in Education North (Frank Young Building) 204, is designed to serve as a hub of communication for students and between COEHS departments. It is the goal of the Mentor Center to offer information, guidance, and specialized services to students as they progress toward their academic and career goals.
The Mentor Center seeks to serve students who have majors and are seeking a degree in one of the following COEHS Departments/Majors:
Curriculum and Instruction
- Early Childhood Education (EC-6th Grade)
- Concentrations include: Generalist, Special Education, and Bilingual (which requires four Spanish courses)
- Middle School Education (4th - 8th Grade)
- Math
- Math/ESL
- Science
- Science/ESL
- Math/Science Combination
- English, Language Arts, & Reading (Bachelor of Science only)
Health and Human Performance
- All-level Kinesiology Teaching
- Sports and Recreation Management
- Health Promotion
- All-level Health with Teacher Certification
- Human Performance

Psychology
