Welcome to Faculty Senate
Faculty Senate replaced by the Faculty Advisory Council
Prior to September 2025, the primary university-wide faculty organizational unit was the Faculty Senate. At that time, in compliance with Senate Bill 37 of the 89th Texas State Legislative Session, the Faculty Senate was abolished and replaced by the Faculty Advisory Council.
Webpages for the new Faculty Advisory Council are forthcoming.
Content remaining on the Faculty Senate pages is now historical in nature.
