SOAC Funding

Each year the Office of Student Engagement makes funding available for Registered Student Organizations to host events, travel to conferences, and many other activities for the enhancement of student life at A&M-Commerce. These funds are approved and distributed by the Student Organization Allocations Committee (SOAC). 

All Registered Student Organizations that are in good standing are eligible to apply for funding through SOAC. Please refer to the Funding Guidelines and the application documents at the links below to find out more about funding.

SOAC Meeting Schedule for Spring 2024

All SOAC Applications must be turned in by the application submission deadline listed below for your request to be heard at one of the upcoming SOAC meeting dates prior to your event or travel. The deadline is set 3 weeks in advance of each SOAC meeting. If you do not meet the deadline your request may be denied.

SOAC Applications and Expense Report Documents

SOAC Application (for events, travel, and Operational Funding)

The SOAC Funding application is for student organizations wishing to request funds for events, travel, and operational funding purchases. Event funding is for hosting on-campus events that are open to all students. Travel funding is for off-campus travel to a conference. Operational Funding is for organizations to aid in recruitment, marketing, operational costs or leadership development. Opertional funding may be requested throughout the year up to $200 for the entire year (September to August) or until all SOAC funds are disbursed.

Funding limits:
$700 per event 
$350/participant up to $700 for travel (1 travel per semester: Fall/Winter, Spring/Summer)
$200 for Operational Funding for the year

SOAC Expense Report

Use this form to turn in all receipts and other documentation after SOAC approved activities.
