The Web Browser You Use Will Determine Your Download Experience.
If you use Internet Explorer, the A&M-Commerce Property Forms document files should open automatically when you click on them.
If you use Netscape Navigator, the file may open automatically as an Excel document or a pop-up window may ask for more information. At the pop-up window you have a choice. Do either of the two below options:
- Pick App.
This choice is asking you to pick an application. You will need to choose Microsoft Excel. To accomplish this, click "Pick App...", next click "Browse." Then you need to find Microsoft Office on your hard drive. [Your hard drive is probably the C drive. Microsoft Office may be in a folder named Program Files or MSOffice.] Once you find Microsoft Office, choose Excel.
Note: This is easier than it sounds. And once you've completed the above steps and chosen Excel, you will not have to do this for the rest of the property forms you want to download. They should automatically open in Excel when you click on them!
- Save File...
This choice is asking you to save the file to your hard drive. To accomplish this, click "Save File". Save the file to your hard drive. Then open up Microsoft Excel and run the file you just saved on your hard drive.
