Incoming freshman students are automatically reviewed for scholarships based on college-level credit hours earned through a dual credit program during high school. The automatic review process does not guarantee that you will receive a scholarship offer since funding is limited. Eligibility for a Mane Freshman Achievement Scholarship is based on number of dual credit hours earned and the GPA for those dual credit hours. Students who are PTK members need to have a copy of their PTK membership certificate on file with the Admissions Office. These scholarships only apply to the Fall and Spring semesters. Offer notifications are sent via student university email accounts and must be accepted within 14 days in MyLeo. Scholarships not accepted within 14 days of being offered will be canceled. The level of scholarship offered is based on the student’s dual credit hours on record with our Admission's Office at the time the scholarship is offered.
The following eligibility requirements will be used to determine which Mane Freshmen Achievement Scholarship will be offered:

The form can be found at: Scholarship Enrollment Exception Form
The first time a student fails to meet either the credit hour or the GPA requirement for the Mane Freshmen Achievement Scholarship will result in probation for the next semester of enrollment. A notification will be sent to the student's university e-mail account. The student will still be eligible to receive the Mane Freshmen Achievement Scholarship during the probation semester, provided the student is meeting credit hour requirements. After the probation semester, the student will have to meet both the GPA and credit hour requirements each semester or the Mane Freshmen Achievement Scholarship will be suspended.
