Greetings, Prospective Lion Theatre Camp Teacher Interns!!!

Welcome to the jungle!!! If you are a high school or middle school theatre teacher who wants to learn from the best and become a part of our dynamic Lion Theatre Camp family this summer, apply today for one of the very limited slots in our *new* Theatre Teacher Internship Program!

Our Program features many unique opportunities for you:

·advanced directing workshops,

·TAMUC graduate faculty feedback on practical directing of scene work with campers,

·observations of award-winning directors and teachers,

·contributions to camp shows,

·and much more!!!

To reserve your spot in the Theatre Teacher Internship Program at Lion Theatre Camp, please click on the below link to be directed to a secure portal, complete your registration, and minimally submit your non-refundable deposit of $300 by credit card. In order to reserve your spot, you must both fully complete the requested registration information and submit payment.

For check payments, please email the Teacher Internship Coordinator, Rebecca Worley, directly at Rebecca.Worley@tamuc.edu immediately to receive a separate registration link and mailing instructions for the check. Again, please understand that we cannot fully reserve your slot until both the registration information and payment is received… so don’t delay!

THEATRE TEACHER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM REGISTRATION QUICK FACTS:

REGISTATION INFORMATION: The required registration information on the payment portal must be completed in full. Please check your responses to assure that they are completely accurate before submitting.

CAMP COST: $750 (all payments are considered NON-REFUNDABLE)

*Payment includes all camp instruction, plus A&M - Commerce dorm room and meals for two weeks.

*Deposit of $300 required to secure your spot (or, you may choose to pay the full $750 upon registration).

*Final balance of $450 due on or before MAY 15 (any person who is not paid in full by May 15 will forfeit their spot and deposit).

*Save your receipt for your records after completing registration and payment.

INTERN ELIGIBILITY: Interns must be currently employed as a high school or middle school teacher who focuses on theatre instruction (either through formal class instruction and/or through the direction of plays).

CAMP PACKETS: Shortly after May 15, comprehensive camp information, official required form requests, etc. will be emailed to all Interns who have completed the registration information and paid in full.
