Documents Required for Check-in
Below are the required documents and information for check-in. (If you fail to document all required documents OIP will reject the submission) To upload your check-in documents click here: Check-In Form
Upload Immigration documents by December 5th 2021 and last date to issue I-20 is 15th of December 2021 . Transfer students can apply.
Failure to upload your immigration documents by December 5th 2021 and complete the federally mandated International New Student Orientation/ Immigration Briefing on January 22, 2022 may will result in the termination of your SEVIS Record and F-1 visa. Upon the termination of your SEVIS record you will be required to leave the U.S. immediately.
If you cannot attend the orientation on January 22 please email new.intl@tamuc.edu.
In the United States we are often very strict with our program start times so please DO NOT arrive late for your International New Student Orientation/ Immigration Briefing!
- Fill in the Check-In Form
- Upload copy of your passport and visa
- Upload of I-94. If you have a paper copy I-94 upload a copy of the front and back. If you have an electronic I-94 record we will need a print out of your Electronic I-94 Record
- Upload of A&M-Commerce I-20 with your signature on the first page
- Students with F-2 dependents will need to upload their dependent(s) I-20, passport, visa, and I-94
- Students on approved OPT or Economic Hardship will need to upload a copy of their EAD card front and back
- Students approved for a change of visa status or TPS will need to upload of their receipt notice, approval notice, and EAD card (if applicable)
