Below are the required documents and information for check-in. You may email New.Intl@tamuc.edu with any questions or concerns. Please note the following:

• Students who fail to provide all information or documents below may be delayed in their ability to register for courses. 
• Please arrive for your check-in appointment at least 15 minutes before the start time.

Students who arrive after their scheduled check-in start time will not be permitted to check-in. In the United States we are often very strict with our program start times so please DO NOT arrive late for your check-in!

The following documents and copies of documents are required when you come for your check-in and welcome session. Failure to provide the copies of the documents as instructed will delay your ability to register for classes:

• Completed New Student Data Form included with your A&M-Commerce I-20 (all information is required on this form)
• Copy of passport and visa (bring originals)
• Copy of I-94.  If you have a paper copy I-94 we will need a copy of the front and back.  If you have an electronic I-94 record we will need a print out of your Electronic I-94 Record
• Copy of A&M-Commerce I-20 (bring original) with your signature on the first page
• Students with F-2 dependents will need to provide copies of their dependent(s) I-20, passport, visa, and I-94 (bring originals)
• Students on approved OPT or Economic Hardship will need to provide a copy of their EAD card
• Students approved for a change of visa status or TPS will need to provide copies of their receipt notice, approval notice, and EAD card (if applicable)

Transfer students will need to provide the following additional documents before the ISSS registration hold will be lifted:

• Completed A&M-Commerce Transfer Release Form
• Proof of funding for one year of study if requirement not already met
• Your SEVIS record must be released to A&M-Commerce (school code DAL214F00099000)
• I-20(s) from previous school/university
