The best way to learn about A&M-Commerce is to visit our campus! During your visit you can enjoy exploring our spectacular facilities, meet our students, and learn about the numerous opportunities that are waiting for you. Come experience the vibrant life of our campus community, which includes more than 100 student organizations, 11 intercollegiate athletics teams, an award winning campus newspaper, and an active Fraternity & Sorority Life.
We are located in the quaint college town of Commerce, Texas, about an hour northeast of Dallas. It is the perfect environment to learn, make friends, take on academic challenges, and build relationships with world-class professors who not only spend time with you in class, but make themselves available after class. Our informal, small town atmosphere creates a close-knit community of students, faculty, and staff.

Texas Senate Bill - 11 permits concealed carry of firearms in Texas A&M University-Commerce buildings only to persons who have been issued and are in possession of a Texas License to Carry permit. Pursuant to PC 46.035 and A&M-Commerce Rule 34.06.02.R1, permit holders may not concealed carry in restricted locations. Please observe temporary building and venue signage to comply with state law and report violations to the University Police Department at 903-886-5868 or 9-1-1. View the campus procedure here.
