Topologies on a Finite set and the R_0 Separation Axiom

Abstract:

Given a finite set, how many topologies can be defined on the set? the answer to the question is unresolved, but some progress has been made toward resolution of the question. Within this talk some of the known results concerning topologies on a finite set will be given, including recent results concerning the number of R_0 spaces on a finite set and another check for the total number of topologies on a finite set.
