An education graduate with her preschool class

Suzanne Thomas

I am an assistant professor of special education.  I received my Ph.D. from the University of Florida and come to TAMU-C from the University of Texas at Tyler.  My research interests include teaching basic math to people with intellectual disabilities, school/family relationships, especially successful school experiences for students with rare diseases, successful transition of exceptional learners from school to post-school activities, and positive behavior supports and technology use in early intervention and childhood special education.
