The ISSS provides advising hours for students who may have general questions or concerns. Students may also call the ISSS at 903-886-5097 or Skype TAMUCISSO during advising times with general advising questions or concerns:
Advising hours will be canceled during all ISSS sponsored event (for example- check-in and welcome, international coffee hour, travel signature week, Intl Education Week) and during semester breaks. Be sure to review our Calendar of Events.

Students needing to contact the ISSS outside of our regular business hours or during the holiday breaks when the university is closed may contact the University Police Department at 903-886-5868. UPD will follow-up with an ISSS staff members in emergency situations.
Emergency situations may include an international student being detained at port of entry when attempting to re-enter the U.S. or a medical emergency. Students experiencing a medical emergency will first need to contact emergency services by calling 911 and then follow-up with the ISSS at a later time when appropriate. Emergency situations do not include students who fail to follow normal application procedures when requesting assistance from the ISSS.
